1、 How to build EPS exterior wall decoration components
Foundation treatment - elastic line - adhesive preparation - installation line - positioning - fixing anchor - suture treatment - finishing - acceptance
1. Site investigation
First, the construction site shall be inspected to check the surface condition. The foundation surface shall be flat and compact. For the foundation surface that does not meet the requirements, it shall be coordinated with the relevant parties and renovated. 2. Stay wire
Relevant dimensions are measured on site.
3. Confirm drawings
Confirm and compare the size and shape of the final products according to the actual situation on site and the design drawings. If it is not suitable, the modification shall be proposed immediately and sent to the owner and designer for confirmation.
4. Product production
EPS series products are produced in the factory. The factory shall convert engineering drawings into processing drawings, arrange detailed product processing orders and production plans, and closely arrange the production schedule according to the actual needs of the site. Timely respond to on-site feedback and make appropriate adjustments according to the situation.
5. Elastic line
According to the structural drawing, the positioning line (center line or side line) is popped out at the part where EPS components are to be installed.
6. Wire cutting
The factory produces products of fixed length. When installing in the field, try to use the whole line. The cutting line needs to be sawed with a special saw. The cutting surface shall be as flat and uneven as possible, and shall be polished with sandpaper.
7. Prepare mortar on site.
1 The mortar used in construction is a special polymer bonded mortar specially prepared for EPS foundation requirements;
2 When mixed with hand-held electric mixer, the mixture shall be fully and evenly mixed with moderate consistency.
3 After preparing the mortar, let it stand for 5 minutes. Stir again before use. The prepared mortar shall be used within 2 hours.
8. Paste line
Polystyrene EPS component adhesive shall be composite bonding mortar, small lines shall be pasted by full pasting, large lines shall be pasted by point hoop bonding, EPS components shall be pressed hard to meet the wall surface, and the width of bonding joint shall not exceed 3MM. The bonding joint shall be bonded with the hook, the gray joint shall be filled, and the EPS component surface shall be kept clean.
9. Install anchor
When the thickness of the line is ≥ 500mm, after the line is installed in place and cured for 24 hours, punch the set part with a percussion drill. The hole passes through the EPS line and the external wall insulation layer, and the bottom wall is not less than 50mm. The outer opening of the hole is slightly lower than the inner opening to prevent rainwater from pouring into the wall system. The anchor bolt shall be installed in the hole, and the anchor plate shall be embedded in the surface of the line and shall not be exposed.
10. Sewing
EPS production line is composed of fixed length finished products. If you need to splice non fixed length lines, first measure the size, and then paste them in place.
During installation, joints shall be installed and sealed as far as possible. After the adhesive has cured for 24 hours, apply a layer of plaster at the joints, then apply a layer of 100 mm wide alkali resistant mesh or non-woven fabric, and then apply a layer of plaster to dry.
11. Line repair
The line shall be installed with rear anchorage. At the same time, in the process of line installation, such phenomena as damage and breakage will occur, and some lines will be cut off due to the blockage of some scaffolds, so the lines that need to be damaged or cut off will be damaged or cut off. For damaged or cut parts, first clean the required area, cut the EPS material into the same volume and shape as the defective part, and then stick it in place with special adhesive. The surface is covered with mortar and alkali resistant mesh. Cloth and lap shall be more than 50mm around. The finished product surface is combined with the surrounding large surface to ensure smoothness and smoothness.
2、 How to calculate EPS exterior wall decoration parts
EPS decorative lines are generally divided into two categories when calculating the quantities.
If the width of sill line, door and window cover, squa line, waist line, etc. is less than 200mm, the actual installed quantity shall be calculated as an extensometer. If the extended width exceeds 200mm, calculate the area of the bonding surface that exceeds the size shown in the figure.
Roman Column Cap, railing cap, arc, pattern splicing, pillar, corner wrap and other special-shaped parts are difficult to install due to their different shapes, high technical requirements, and their quantities are generally determined according to the decorative external surface of the product. The area is calculated by multiplying the coefficient 2.2.
